Rachel Bisco

Rachel210x320Instructor/Choreographer – Rachel graduated Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University where she majored in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Dance.  While attending ESU, Rachel participated in the University Dance Company where she performed and choreographed many dances. She also taught Adult Ballroom classes for the community outreach program.  Rachel is no stranger to Art of Dance as she began dancing there when she was just five years old.  Rachel graduated with honors from High School and was accepted into the dance program at DeSales University.  After spending a year at DeSales, Rachel left to further her dance career in NYC.  She was a part of many projects in New York including performing in an off Broadway show called “The 11th Hour” choreographed by Eddie Garcia and Katherine Murphy.  The show was a part of the Broadway Dance Center Program.  She studied at many different studios and with many different choreographers throughout her year in the city including Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, Chris Judd, and Laurie Ann Gibson.  Rachel then moved back home to finish her education at East Stroudsburg University which lead her back to her family at AOD.

Rachel’s choreography for Art of Dance has won many awards at numerous competitions including 1st places, overall awards and scores.  Rachel continues to study dance throughout the Lehigh Valley and New York City areas.  She is very passionate about each and every one of her students and hopes to continue the love of dance through her teachings. Rachel feels so blessed to be surrounded by the amazing staff, children, and parents of Art of Dance.
