Whether your child is taking their very first workshop class or you are transferring from another studio, we want to welcome you and make you feel at home! Here are a few things to help you get acquainted with our studio. If at any time you have questions, please feel free to call us or stop in and see us.
Tuition: Tuition is due the first class of every month and can either be mailed or put in the gray tuition box in the main lobby by the bulletin board. We accept cash, check and credit cards. If you pay by cash, please DO NOT leave payment in the tuition box. Please hand your payment directly to the receptionist so you may obtain a receipt. Credit card payments are subject to a 2% processing fee. Please read the “tuition” form or our brochure for exact tuition costs and policies.
Monthly Newsletters: During the first week of each month, you will receive our monthly newsletters by email. PLEASE read through these newsletters carefully as they contain important information and dates. We will also have a copy posted on the bulletin boards in our lobbies.
Recital and Costumes: Art of Dance will hold its annual recital in June. We have four performances; two matinees and two evenings at Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem. Every student is required to purchase one costume per class they take. There will a $30.00 per costume deposit due in October and balances must be paid in Jan. It is mandatory that your child attend all dress rehearsals in order to participate in the recital.
Picture Week: Students will be photographed in their recital costumes in May. More info on this will come home later in the year.
Shoes Tights, Dance Attire and Accessories: Come visit our new store! We carry all the dance shoes, tights and attire your child is required to have for class.
Lobbies: We have two lobbies in our studio. The main lobby is located right outside of Studios A & B. Our main bulletin board is located there as well as the tuition box and vending machines. We also have another lobby located inside of studio C at the south entrance of the building. There is also a tuition box for your convenience, however if paying by cash or credit card, please come to the main office.
Label Your Child’s Belongings: Please put your child’s name in everything; shoes, leotards, and skirts! If a student should leave an article of clothing or shoes behind, it will be placed in our lost and found located in studio C.
Parent Visitation: This is a chance for you to come in and see the progress your child has made during the first half of the year. The dates for visitation will be announced in the November newsletter.
